Clinical Evidence

Pooled results from two clinical trials conducted in 42 healthy women demonstrated that iron absorption from a meal was 23% higher when taken with Biome Iron +™, compared to a placebo capsule containing iron, folic acid and vitamin C only.

Active Ingredients (Per Capsule)

  • Lactobacillus plantarum 299v (DSM 9843) – 10 billion live bacteria (BLB)

  • Iron (as ferrous fumarate) – 4.2 mg (30% NRV/RDA)

  • Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) – 30 μg (15% NRV/RDA)

  • Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) – 12 mg (15% NRV/RDA)

Directions for Use

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily, with or without food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
