Designs for Health Lipoic Acid Supreme provides 300 mg of alpha-lipoic acid and 500 mg of taurine per capsule to promote healthy metabolic function, glucose metabolism, and antioxidant status in the body. Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that plays an important role in energy metabolism by helping to maintain healthy blood glucose and lipid metabolism, and by promoting normal insulin and mitochondrial function. Research shows that lipoic acid competes for biotin-dependent enzymes. Long-term supplementation of lipoic acid may reduce biotin levels, so it is recommended to supply them together. Taurine and biotin play important roles in maintaining healthy insulin function.
DIRECTIONS
