Selenium is an essential trace element in human nutrition that may support healthy immune function by improving the activation and proliferation of B-lymphocytes, whilst also enhancing T-cell function. Zinc is also involved in many aspects of immunological function including the mediation of non-specific immunity and maintaining the function of T helper and cytotoxic cells.
- High potency colostrum: Ultra Probioplex contains a quality source of first milking colostrum derived from pasture fed cattle. Colostrum is particularly high in immunoglobulins A and G, antimicrobial peptides; lactoferrin and lactoperoxidase and other bioactive molecules including growth factors.
